About Malta



Malta is a group of islands, referred to as the Maltese archipelago, Malta, Gozo and Comino, situated in the heart of the Mediterranean sea. With a history going back to 5000BC, it is no wonder that Malta has been part of the European and African continents history ever since man started documenting history.

The resident population of Malta, is estimated to be just over  400,000. The very hot and humid climate makes Malta a popular destination with tourists, offering much more than just sun and sea. The Maltese have a typical Mediterranean approach to life, practising strong values and beliefs and very loyal and strong work ethics.  English is widely spoken by the man in the street, as is Italian, in most cases.
